Bell and Tower Reunited

Hello again, friends, family and alumni.
Today we can finally say... The bell is hung... That's right it sits on a platform on the "A" frames with the rope wheel attached inside the bell tower.

This Monday August 2, 2010 was a very long day... full of unexpected challenges... Under the direction of Ed Miranda and a lot of visitors who made suggestions and one who offered real help, we can say today the "bell is hung".

Now let's be clear: the hoist frame still needs to be taken down; the floor needs to be swept and cleaned. The nicks & dings from the two days of work need to be repainted. Then & only then can we say it is truly done.

I'm very happy and grateful that Ed called me to help. There is a great satisfaction in turning a dream into reality. Completing this project is a wonderful gift.
