BLOOMINGTON — Robert H. Wagner, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2020 in his home, surrounded by the love of family.
Robert was born on November 13, 1929 in Jamaica, Queens, NY. He spent most of his childhood years at St. Agatha Home, an orphanage in Nanuet, N.Y. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served with the U.S Army Cyber Center of Excellence in Germany during the Korean War.
Robert married the love of his life, Eugenia Kazmierski, on July 16, 1955. They celebrated 65 years of marriage the day before his passing.
Robert lived with his family in Yonkers, N.Y., until transferring to Bloomington, Indiana, with Otis Elevator Company in 1968. He had a long career at Otis in accounting and as an operations analyst until his retirement.
